A couple of weekends ago was spent mostly outdoors, enjoying the cool breezes and the warmth of the sun. We finally had a chance to visit Meech Lake, part of the Gatineau Hills. In the woods are the remains of an old mill, with a waterfall still running through it.
The deafening rush of water
the crunch of last year’s leaves underfoot
the sunlight cutting through the trees
scaling rocky ledges
breaths of fresh spring air
and a little piece of history in the middle of the woods
are all very good for the soul.
Beautiful photographs. I love the first one - the way the bokeh.
